Bangalore: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar on Tuesday announced the extension of park timings across Bangalore. The Deputy CM announced at a city press conference that a total of 1,200 public parks in the vibrant technology center will be open to the public from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Previously, area parks were open to the public daily from 5am to 8pm, with a maintenance break from 10am to 1.30pm.

This expansion now offers citizens the opportunity to enjoy these green spaces for longer periods of time for relaxation and exercise. The decision is in line with the state government’s broader strategy to improve urban amenities and meet the city’s changing needs Bengaluru‘s residents.
