NORTH WEBSTER – A home in James Lake is a total loss after a fire on Saturday afternoon, June 22.

Dave Rensberger, assistant chief of Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory, said.

TTFT was called to the fire at 69 EMS T3 Lane, North Webster at 3.22pm on Saturday.

TTFT called for help from the Winona Lake Fire Department, Turkey Creek Fire Territory, the Plain Township Fire Department and the Pierceton Fire Department, with Rensberger explaining he wanted to give firefighters breaks due to the heat.

Lutheran EMS and North Webster EMS also responded to the scene.

No cause of the fire is known at this time. The fire brigade was on site until at least 4.30 pm on Saturday.

According to Kosciusko County Beacon GIS, the home is owned by Michael H. Burke and Lois Burke-Dickerhoff.
